Where can I find help with the legal questions about my asylum application?

An asylum procedure can look complicated. Luckily there are legal advisors who can help you.

Do you have any questions about your rights or about the course of the procedure? The Federal Migration Centre Myria that defends the rights of foreigners, can be contacted at the free telephone number 0800 14 912 or through their site www.myria.be.

You can always get help from the legal information point in your neighbourhood. They can refer you to the necessary authorative source or guide you through the procedures and documents.

You can find LGBT friendly lawyers in the adress guide on our website. More lawyers in your neighbourhood you can find on the website of the Order of Flemish Bar. There you can search per theme to find a lawyer who is specialised  in foreign rights (vreemdelingenrecht) and asylum (asiel).

Your lawyer and yourself can also get help from the juridical helpdesk Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen.
